Digital Literacy (Course)

I was inspired to create this course by watching my mother-in-law struggle to remember her various passwords and logins, alongside her general difficulty when using her laptop and smartphone.

The learning objectives are to give non-technical users practical skills to help keep their personal data safe when using online apps and services.

Learning With Cactus – Math (Microlearning)

My daughter needed to practice her addition and subtraction, so I put together this short lesson featuring her favorite cuddly toy, Cactus (a Cockney cousin of Sully from Monsters, Inc.). I used variables to create a randomized quiz which changes the questions every time, which greatly enhances repeatability and encourages further practice.
